Departing slightly from the minimalist design it's cultivated over the years, Movado's Series 800 combines an eye-catching luxury watch with the practicalities of a sports watch without wholly sacrificing the spare modernism that is its trademark. Finally, it includes tachymeter readings around the outer edge of the dial, which can be used for measuring time over distance. This precisely timed watch has a Swiss-made quartz movement, which is accurate to 60 seconds per year. Other features include a sapphire glass crystal for optimal scratch resistance, screw down crown for maximum protection, and water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet)--which will stand up to the rigors of recreational scuba diving.
